Every Product Represents a Changed Life! That slogan for Heavenly Treasures applies to me in so many ways and I am so thankful you have allowed me to serve God through my career gifting to help the poor! God broke my heart to serve the poor. At first I thought it meant just to help people in developing countries. As Heavenly Treasures reaches its 14th anniversary, my eyes are being opened to a whole area of ministry of sharing my testimony.

For the past 6 months I have been praying about what God wants me to do. I met with my spiritual director, Kathy Noling, and devoted myself to seeking God’s direction.  This is one of the ways God spoke to me through HIS word:

"If you don't go all the way with me, through thick and thin, you don't deserve me. If your first concern is to look after yourself, you'll never find yourself. But if you forget about yourself and look to me, you'll find both yourself and me. We are intimately linked in this harvest work. Anyone who accepts what you do, accepts me, the One who sent you. Anyone who accepts what I do accepts my Father, who sent me. Accepting a messenger of God is as good as being God's messenger. Accepting someone's help is as good as giving someone help. This is a large work I've called you into, but don't be overwhelmed by it. It's best to start small. Give a cool cup of water to someone who is thirsty, for instance. The smallest act of giving or receiving makes you a true apprentice. You won't lose out on a thing." (Matthew 10:38, 40 MSG)

I was scared about sharing my “love story” but I’ve been encouraged by my spiritual director in developing my personal timeline. As I started to go back in my life through all the various experiences, I felt a lot of pain and memories I really did not want to revisit. Meeting God each day in the morning and continuing through the process I have received healing in various ways. The intense pain and struggles I have experienced have been replaced with peace and reconciliation so that I am able to share about my changed life.  God knows the reasons HE wants me to do this.

Once I said “YES” to God in my heart, I had invitations to share my story. Two women’s retreats, APU Global Vision Week chapel speaker and the Identity conference being held at Saddleback Church! Wow!

Would you “Pray with a Mission” for my time as I continue to develop the talks and know what God wants me to share with each group?

When God changes our lives we are called to share those experiences so others who struggle and need healing by our heavenly Father can be freed from the pain that is in each person’s life. Only a true relationship with Jesus Christ can change lives!

Changing Lives is not only in developing countries but right here, around us every day! Thank you for supporting Heavenly Treasures as we continue to develop economic avenues for the poor; but most of all, for spiritual development for all those we partner with in ministry and livelihood projects!

Changing lives together,

Kathy G
